H-HOPE and our partners from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya Barcelona Fluids & Energy Lab (IFLUIDS-UPC) and the Centre for Technological Innovation in Static Converters and Drives (CITCEA-UPC) had the pleasure to exhibit at the European Commission 17th SET Plan Conference SET plan in Barcelona in early November.
Attracting more than 200 politicians and professionals in the field of energy from across the European Union, the two days high-level event gathered public and private representatives in the national, European and International innovation landscape, discussing cross-cutting issues such as the integration of societal needs, digitalisation and circularity in the development and deployment of clean energy technologies.
The SET Plan accelerates the development and deployment of low-carbon technologies and is one of the most important tools for EU countries to work on and bring forward their policies, which they subsequently report on and measure through the National Energy, and Climate Plans (NECPs).
H-HOPE interacted with attendees as part of a exhibition of research and innovation projects, alongside other projects including SureNexus and Windcrete. H-HOPE is key to achieving the objectives of the #SETPlan, improving the competitiveness and sovereignty of clean energy technology in Europe, as well as providing renewable solutions to #digitilisation challenges in the European water network.
A big thanks to David Bermejo Plana and Xavier Sánchez Botello for their work.
